Vessels for Living Spaces

Vessels for Living Spaces

A vessel is never empty, even when it holds nothing.

Across cultures and generations, vessels have been among the most meaningful objects in the home. They are created to receive, to contain and to protect. Water, grain, flowers and offerings - all have passed through vessels shaped with care and intention.

The Signature Vessels Collection was born from this understanding.

At Home Of Nula®, we see vases not as decorative afterthoughts but as quiet anchors within a space. They hold life visibly when filled with fresh flowers and invisibly when left empty, reminding us of potential and pause. A vessel does not demand attention but awaits it.

Copper lends itself naturally to this role. It is responsive, warm and alive to touch. When shaped into a vessel, copper reflects its surroundings subtly, changing with light, water and time. It does not remain static but collaboratively participates in its environment.

In many African traditions, vessels were central to domestic and ceremonial life. They carried water for nourishment, herbs for healing and flowers or branches for ritual and celebration. The vessel itself was respected as much as what it carried, often passed down through generations as an object of continuity.

Our Signature Vessels Collection is designed with this lineage in mind. Their names and forms are deliberate and grounded, allowing flowers to rest naturally rather than be arranged rigidly. They honour water as much as bloom, recognising that life is sustained quietly before it is seen.

Even without flowers, a vessel remains meaningful. It holds space, softens a room and reminds us that the home is not meant to be filled endlessly, but curated with objects that serve both function and feeling.

At Home Of Nula®, we believe vessels teach us how to receive beauty, life and moments without excess or urgency.

The Signature Vessels Collection will be launching soon. Crafted in copper to honour life, water and quiet presence, these designer vases invite you to experience the beauty of holding, not displaying.
